This week Fruta Feia Co-Op reached 500 ton of avoided waste. It is an important milestone in Co-Op’s life. When it started in November 2013, it was never imagined that could reach so far, even less in such a short time: 500 tons it's a lot of fruit!

This number was reached together with farmers and associated consumers, always with a hand in the countryside and the other in the city. The team is motivated and with sleeves rolled up, proving that another type of consumption is possible, one that does not judge the work of a farmer neither the product quality by the appearance.
